Most notably, Northern Sentinel® Honeylocust is unlikely to suffer damage from ice and snow, and it's storm and drought-resistant. It is considered podless in most conditions. If pods do appear, they are sparse.

Where to put it:

Northern Sentinel® Honeylocust has a sturdy branching structure. This characteristic allows it to grow well in urban sites such as parkways and parks. Due to its narrow form, this large tree will do well in tighter locations where shade is needed.
