Marlee Harford of iTrees.com and Becky Thomas of Spring Grove Nursery knew that the community was feeling the impact of the COVID-19 outbreak and that they needed to do something to give back.
Planting a tree in our community in honor of our everyday heroes who are out there on the frontline of this pandemic is truly a sign of hope and looking to a healthy future, and it’s a really beautiful way to say for us to say “Thank you, you’re appreciated.”

For the month of April, iTrees.com is partnering with Spring Grove Nursery to plant trees in the yards of our much deserving health care professionals throughout our community. Our local healthcare professionals are on the frontlines of stressful uncertain situations daily, and they are working extra hard to keep us all safe and healthy during these extraordinary times. How about we all share the love in our own community by bringing a bit of beauty & calmness to their home sanctuary? Trees bring us the peace, beauty, stress relief, and health we are all seeking right now. Do you know a healthcare professional who would benefit from the serenity trees provide? Please send in an emailed nomination letter with a paragraph of a healthcare professional who would benefit from this much-deserved tribute and why you nominate them. Send your entries to info@itrees.com by April 17th. All nominees must live in Grundy County. Recipients will be announced on Arbor Day, April 24!
