Where to put it:

Bloodgood Japanese Maple is a zone 5 plant; however, it is worth noting that Japanese Maple are not known for their cold hardiness. Keeping this into consideration, Japanese Maples will do best in areas where they are protected from wind. They will do best in urban or suburban settings, in a sheltered location such as near a patio or house. Just make sure you leave enough room, as they do get fairly large at maturity.
