Insane price!

$800!! I got one at a similar size at Home Depot literally for $89. This must be a mistake. Every internet price I have seen is very high, but this is insane.

Hi there,
Thank you for the feedback. Currently, our pricing is $800 for a 5-foot-tall Vanderwolf's Pyramidal Pine delivered and planted with a 1-year full replacement warranty. That includes delivery, planting of the tree, hauling away any sod or dirt leftover, mulching around each tree, and a 1-year full replacement warranty. All of our trees are grown locally in our well-respected family partner nursery, Spring Grove Nursery. The price is going to reflect the service that is provided and the quality of the trees that are going to be planted. Often trees from larger big box stores are container size (which means they are much younger and their height might be the same but the width and overall size of the tree is much smaller). It is also hard to know where the trees come from when purchasing from big box stores. It is important and recommended for the best overall health and longevity of a tree to be sure it is grown and acclimated to our climate. Trees from other states can take transplants hard and survival rates are lower because of the stress on them with the weather change. We pride ourselves in our service and have competitive pricing with other high-quality garden centers offering similar services as iTrees.com. Please let me know if you have any questions. Have a wonderful day!

Shapes vary

Six years ago I purchased two from one grower and one from another. The latter clearly did an excellent job of shaping the tree as it grew and it has beautiful form. The other two, not so much. These are beautiful trees but even they require early pruning to reach their potential.

Love the tree

I live near the snake river in Idaho. Imperative that it be protected from rutting buck deer in the late fall and winter.

Horizontal & vertical limbs.

Contrary to other reports, this is a fast growing tree. Branches grow both horizontal and vertical. Large pine cones developed after 10 years or so.
