The foliage is reddish-purple when unfolding which changes to a lustrous medium to dark green during summer. In the fall Persian Parrotia’s foliage develops to brilliant yellow/orange/scarlet. This is definitely one of the most beautiful trees for foliage effect.

What it needs:

Persian Parrotia is an extremely tolerant tree that will tolerate many soil types and will do well in full sun or light shade. Be sure to follow our watering guidelines for the first few growing seasons until the root system is well-established.
