Redpointe Red Maple
Redpointe Red Maple glows in the Fall with reliable bright red color. A great mix between the Red Maple and Autumn Blaze Maple, it features an upright, broadly pyramidal form.
Why it rocks:
Redpointe Red Maple was introduced by J. Frank Schmidt, combines the Red Maples brillant form and foliage with the Autumn Blaze Maples faster growth rate. Redpointe Red Maple is one of the few trees with a straight and dominant central leader, which results in strong branch angles that make it easier to grow. It's beautiful red Fall color is a fantastic stand out feature for any yard or landscape.
Where to put it:
Redpointe Red Maple should be planted where you can most enjoy its color and shade. Because of its size, it should be planted at least 15ft from buildings to allow it plenty of room for its beautiful shade. Parkways, front yards, and backyards are great locations for this popular tree.
What it needs:
Redpointe Red Maple thrives in almost any home landscape. This tree will benefit from well drained soil conditions, and shouldn’t be planted where it can't be over exposed to salt.
