Heritage® River Birch

Why it rocks:

Heritage® River Birch is native to the midwest and a very sturdy and fast growing tree. Heritage® River Birch is available in both the single trunk form and the multi-stem clump form making it an excellent choice for screening and privacy as well as for visual interest. Heritage® River Birch shows off in the Spring and Summer with large, glossy light green leaves that will turn a golden-yellow in the Fall. Exfoliating bark exposes patches of cream, orange and pinkish tan colors that become more mottled and interesting with age. Resistant to the Bronze Birch Borer.

Where to put it:

Heritage® River Birch can be used in the front or back landscape to provide accent or anchoring, or around a deck or patio to provide shade and screening. This tree will thrive along ponds, streams or in low lying landscapes. It is best to avoid parkways and this tree should always be kept at least 15 Ft away from buildings.

What it needs:

Heritage® River Birch will do exceptionally well in medium to wet locations in full sun to part shade. Once established, this tree is extremely low maintenance.
