Greenspire Linden is a magnificent shade tree that has a formal, pyramidal shape throughout its life. Many consider this tree to be the standard of comparison among all of the Linden species. Greenspire Linden has fragrant, yellow flowers in early summer when few trees bloom, and is a very tidy and low maintenance tree. The Greenspire Linden’s heart-shaped leaves turn from dark green to an outstanding gold in the fall. This extremely tough tree will compliment any landscape.
Where to put it:
Because of its symmetrical form, Greenspire Linden can be used almost anywhere in the landscape. This tree should be planted at least 15ft from buildings, and makes an excellent lawn or street specimen, great by a pool or deck.Â
