Quick Overview
Why it rocks:
Northern Glow® Maple combines the character of a Japanese Maple and the cold hardiness of a Korean Maple. Its graceful wide-spreading branches are covered in rich green leaves in the summer which will transition from bright orange-red to deep red in the fall. This tree is a total delight in the landscape and offers ornamental interest and a zen quality to any landscape bed, patio, or garden area.
Where to put it:
Northern Glow® Maple is tougher and more cold-hardy than the Bloodgood Japanese Maple but will still benefit from sheltered areas. This tree will do best in urban or suburban settings, such as in a landscape bed near a patio or up near the house.
What it needs:
Be sure to follow our tree care instructions for the first few growing seasons until the root system is well-established.
