Norway Spruce is a popular evergreen choice throughout much of the United States. It has many uses ranging from lumber to beautiful specimen trees for any landscape offering sufficient shade year round. 

Where to put it:

Norway Spruce can be planted in a variety of sites, however, its ideal placement is where it will receive full sun for a minimum of 6 hours each day. Works well for windbreaks. 

What it needs:

Norway Spruce prefers full sun. Growing best in acidic, loamy, moist, sandy well-drained and clay soils.
