The Fort McNair Horsechest is loved by hummingbirds. Unlike most other flowering trees, Fort McNair Horsechestnut will bloom after its leaves have fully covered the tree, in the late Spring. Its green leaves make the pink flowers really pop.

Where to put it:

Fort McNair Horsechestnut's bright show-stopper qualities make this a great tree for shade as well as beauty. We recommend that it be planted at least 10 ft away from buildings.
