Swedish Columnar Aspen

Why it rocks:

Swedish Columnar Aspen is very tall and narrow and its branching structure is almost parallel to its trunk. This tree has dramatic transitioning foliage, going from a bronze-red in spring, to green in the summer and then turning a range of yellow-red in the fall. Along with the tree's notable fall color, the leaves will add some music to your ears with their unique rustling sound. 

Where to put it:

Swedish Columnar Aspen is a great option for tight spaces and between buildings. This is an excellent accent tree and is ideal for privacy screening.

What it needs:

Swedish Columnar Aspen is a tough and adaptable tree and does well in areas where it will get between 6-8 hours of sun. Be sure to follow our watering guidelines for the first few growing seasons until the root system is well-established.
